Integral House
I don’t often post about architecture or interiors, and I don’t know why. I am passionate about both.
If I had a spare $24m (£15m approx) I would live in a house like this – the Integral House designed by Shim – Sutcliffe Architects. It may look more like a cultural centre than a home, but it has a great balance of minimal sensibilities and opulence.
The owner is a former violinist with the Hamilton Symphony Orchestra near Toronto, Canada, which probably accounts for grand appearance of the house. That, and the 150-seat concert hall built in to the property. Thanks to Daily Icon for bring this to my attention.

It’s not often I use the word “amazing”, as I think it’s one of the most over-used and inappropriately applied words in the English language. In this case I think I may be justified.
