I printed on someone else’s printer

Yesterday I printed something on someone else’s printer over the internet. No, I didn’t hack in to a computer, but it was by invitation from Guido Tamino. This is a personal project to create a book from content created by anyone.

Have a go and watch your page being printed, via webcam on his site (that’s my page being printed above).

Paintings by Sea Hyun Lee

I absolutely love these. They remind me of Delftware (you know, the stuff on plates). The details are just beautiful.

Georges Rousse

Bold geometry and abandoned spaces. Two of my favourite things combined by photographer and artist Georges Rousse

Found at Today and Tomorrow

The work that goes in to his installations / compositions is remarkable. Get a little insight in to the process in this short video.

Trippy and pretty II

In a quick follow up to my post last Thursday, here’s some more animated trippy-ness care of Today and Tomorrow again. This makes me feel sick on more the one level.

Gay’ed up film posters

Brilliant. Posters for a Gay & Lesbian film festival in Amsterdam by Lernert & Sander

I was also quite a fan of what they did with a chocolate bunny. That’s not a gay euphemism.

Alex Roulette

I came across these in September, thanks to booooooom.com

At first I thought they were photos, but they are actually paintings by an artist named Alex Roulette. Not only do I admire the skill and craft in his works, but there is a narrative which is dark and intense.

A bit sketchy

I just discovered this online drawing tool, which I think is brilliant. It’s easy to use and quick to get nice results.

These 3 images are the product of a few minutes play, no erasing and no undoing – I’m not that great at drawing, trust me. Have a go and send it to me.
