Two great films. Two very similar posters.

I just noticed this. Anyone else see it before?

Symmetry by Everynone

This video is doing massive rounds on the internet right now, but it does deserve 2:54 mins of your time.

Animation made with Google Docs

This is pretty impressive and very nice. Created by 3 animators, over 3 days, just in Google Docs. See the actual doc here

The Black Hole

I think there’s a lesson to be learnt here.

Thanks Swiss Miss

Gay’ed up film posters

Brilliant. Posters for a Gay & Lesbian film festival in Amsterdam by Lernert & Sander

I was also quite a fan of what they did with a chocolate bunny. That’s not a gay euphemism.

Bubbles

This is just beautiful. I can watch it over and over again. I like it when the bubbles burst – it’s like it’s in slow motion, but isn’t.

Bruce Lee audition

There are any number of reasons why you might appreciate this screen test of Bruce Lee for The Green Hornet.

Lee was 24 at the time of this audition and he is so on his game. His ability speaks for itself, but he’s so damned savvy with it. From a sartorial point of view he looks slick, wearing a simple Black tie and suit like he was born in it. Plus he’s the perfect mix of hot and cute – a killer combination.

AT-AT / Stuff and Things

This made me laugh, especially at 00:38.

I like Stuff and Things. Doesn’t everyone?

McQueen vs Cadbury

I saw this ad for Cadbury Flake a few days ago and was shocked by the resemblance to a video created for Alexander McQueen’s A/W 2006 show.

See if you can tell the difference.

Did I say resemblance? I meant blatant copy. Apparently it’s the same director, so that would account for the similarity. That’s alright then.

Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere

I don’t know if it’s cool to like Sofia Coppola, but I am hotly anticipating her next film Somewhere, which is due for release in December 2010.

I’m not sure what it’s about and have only seen this trailer, but if it’s anything like the seminal Lost in Translation, I’m there.

Another story of disconnection perhaps?
